Juran Benchmarking benchmarks the operational performance of oil & petroleum marine terminals (storage and loading/unloading facilities) on an annual basis.  These include crude oil, refined products, liquid gases and petrochemical terminals.  Participation in this program includes International Oil Companies, National Oil Companies and smaller Independent Oil Companies from across the globe.

Benchmarking Scope

The scope of the benchmarking focuses on the operational efficiency and effectiveness of oil and gas marine terminals. Efficiency is the expenditure of labour and materials, as well as manpower time expended. Effectiveness focuses on the quality of performance outcomes, including HSSE, reliability, availability, loading/ unloading, demurrage, maintenance management, HR and training, energy consumption, and facility utilisation.
